Hi Stafford,
Just wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed reading your collected works. Re-reading "The Lynching" was a pleasure, as it remains a favorite of mine among the stories presented because it's got such strong horror elements. It was also good to find out how your "Rage of the Mamba Galactic" story ended. It was well worth the wait, and you did a good job leaving it open-ended for the possibility of continuing the story (one question I had: I saw Otter demand toward the story's end that Mamba return him and Helen to their ship, but then Helen isn't mentioned anymore. Did he simply leave her behind when he fled, or is her fate an intentional mystery to be answered in a sequel?) I found "The Shift" to be a very imaginative tale, and my only quibble with it is that I wish it could have gone on a bit longer as I wanted to keep reading about the differences between the President McCain world and the President Obama one (smile.) Something else I really liked about the book was the non-fiction articles and back matter that you included following the stories. Thanks again for sharing this; I really had a great time reading it. -- Best, Anthony ___________________________________ Funereal Diseases of the Mind: Fifteen tales of dark erotica ISBN: 0578022125 ISBN-13: 9780578022123
